1. Reflection:

“Today, the Lord came to me and said, My daughter, help Me to save souls. You will go to a dying sinner, and you will continue to recite the chaplet, and in this way you will obtain for him trust in My mercy, for he is already in despair.  

Suddenly, I found myself in a strange cottage where an elderly man was dying amidst great torments. All about the bed was a multitude of demons and the family, who were crying.  When I began to pray, the spirits of darkness fled, with hissing and threats directed at me.  The soul became calm and, filled with trust, rested in the Lord.

At the same moment, I found myself again in my own room.  How this happens…. I do not know” (Saint María Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, 1797-1798).

2. Supplications:

  • Let us pray for all the people who have asked us for prayer,
  • Let us ask for the grace to recognize that without the Lord’s help we can do nothing,
  • For the intentions of Virgin Mary,
  • For the souls in purgatory,
  • For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.

My Jesus, I am going into the wilderness today to speak only with You, my Master and     my Lord.  Let the earth be silent, and You alone speak to me, Jesus.  You know that I understand no other voice but Yours, O Good Shepherd.  In the dwelling of my heart is that wilderness to which no creature has access.  There, You alone are King. Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen. Jesus I Trust in You (Cf. Diary, 725).
