Daily Reflections, supplications and prayers

1. Reflection:

The doctor did not allow me to go to the chapel to attend the Passion Service, although I had a great desire for it; however, I prayed in my own room. Suddenly I heard the bell in the next room, and I went in and rendered a service to a seriously sick person. (8) When I returned to my room, I suddenly saw the Lord Jesus, who said, My daughter, you gave Me greater pleasure by rendering Me that service than if you had prayed for a long time. I answered, “But it was not to You, Jesus, but to that patient that I rendered this service.” And the Lord answered me, Yes, My daughter, but whatever you for your neighbor, you do for Me (Saint María Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, 1029).

2. Supplications:

  • Let us ask for the Grace, not to be indifferent to the suffering of those around us.
  • Let us pray for those who hate us and wish us harm, so that the true love of the Children of God may triumph in them.
  • Let us ask the Lord to have commiseration of our suffering humanity and for  the end  of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world,
  • For the souls in purgatory,
  • For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.

 3. Resolutions of the day:

Say with the heart: LORD JESUS, I have ofended You, forgive me and help me to always be faithful to You.

4. Final Prayer: 

Oh Eternal Truth, grant me a ray of your ligth so that I y may know
You. Oh Lord, and worthily, glorify your infinite Mercy. And let me know, at the same time, myself, the whole abyss of misery that I am. Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen. Jesus I Trust in You (Cf. Diary, 727).
