Daily Reflections, supplications and prayers

1. Reflection:

Another time I heard these words, Go to the Superior and ask her to allow you to make a daily hour of adoration for nine days. During this adoration try to unite yourself in prayer with My Mother. Pray with all your heart in union with Mary, and try also during this time to make the Way of the Cross. I received the permission, though not for a full hour, but only for whatever time was left me after I had carried out my duties.

I was to make this novena for the intention of my Motherland. On the seventh day of the novena I saw, between heaven and earth, the Mother of God, clothed in a bright robe. She was praying with Her hands folded on Her bosom, Her eyes fixed on Heaven. From Her Heart issued forth fiery rays, some of which were turned toward Heaven while the others were covering our country (Saint María Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, 32-33 ).

2. Supplications:

  • Let us ask for the Grace to be obedient to the Will of the Lord and to trust in the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
  • Pray for nations in conflict and for marriages in crisis.
  • Let us ask the Lord to have commiseration of our suffering humanity and for  the end  of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world,
  • For the souls in purgatory,
  • For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.

 3. Resolutions of the day:

Listen to the Lord with the heart.

4. Final Prayer: 

Oh God, the more I know You, the less I can understand You. But the inability to
understand You allows me to know how great You are, oh God. And that inability to understand You burns my heart towards You like a new flame, oh Lord. From the moment You allowed me, oh JESÚS, to immerse the gaze of my soul in You, I rest a desire nothing more. Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen. Jesus I Trust in You (Diary, 57).
