Daily Reflections, supplications and prayers

Friday, September 2nd., 2022.

1. Reflection:

(12) 16 [August 1937]. After Holy Communion, I saw the Lord Jesus in all His majesty, and He said to me, My daughter, during the weeks when you neither saw Me nor felt My presence, I was more profoundly united to you that at times [when you experienced] ecstasy. And the faithfulness and fragrance of your prayer have reached Me. After these words, my soul became flooded with God‟s consolation. I did not see Jesus, and there was only one word I could utter and that was: “Jesus.” And after pronouncing that Name, my soul was again filled with light and deeper recollection, which lasted uninterruptedly for three days. However, outwardly I could still carry out my usual duties (Saint María Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, 1246).

2. Supplications:

  •  Let us ask for the Grace to glorify the Mercy of the Lord at all times.
  • Let us pray for the sick and for the families who have lost loved ones. 
  • Let us ask the Lord to have commiseration of our suffering humanity and for  the end  of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world,
  • For the souls in purgatory,
  • For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.

 3. Resolutions of the day:

Always trust in the King of Mercy.

4. Final Prayer: 

Eternal Father, look with Mercy at those souls that glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that is, Your Unfathomable Mercy, and that are locked in the most compassionate heart of JESÚS. These souls are a living Gospel, their hands are full of works of mercy, and their hearts are overflowing with joy .
They sing to You, oh Most High, a song of mercy. I beg You, oh God, show them Your Mercy, according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen. Jesus I Trust in You (Diary, 1225).
