1. Reflection:

 

I heard these words: If you did not tie My hands, I would send down many punishments upon the earth. My daughter, your look disarms My anger. Although your lips are silent, you call out to Me so mightily that all heaven is moved. I cannot escape from your requests, because you pursue Me, not from afar but within your own heart.

 

1723 (88) When the soul of a certain young lady came to me one night, she made me aware of her presence, and made known to me that she needed my prayer. I prayed for a while, but her spirit did not leave me. Then I thought to myself, “If you are a good spirit, leave me in peace, and the indulgences I will gain tomorrow will be for you.” At that moment, the spirit left my room, and I recognized that she was in purgatory (Saint María Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, 1722 – 1723).

2. Supplications:

  • Let us ask for the Grace to intercede with our hearts for those souls who have lost hope.
  • Let us pray for our own conversion and the renunciation of that wich separates us from the love of the Lord.
  • Let us ask the Lord to have commiseration of our suffering humanity and for  the end  of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world,
  • For the souls in purgatory,
  • For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.

 3. Resolutions of the day:

Intercede generously for those who seek the Lord on wrong paths.

4. Final Prayer: 

Oh God, that by Your Mercy You have deigned to call the human race from nothing to existence, filling it generously with nature and grace. But for Your goodness that [has not been] enough. You, oh Lord, in Your Mercy, give us eternal life. You admit us to Your eternal happiness and make us participate in Your intimate life. And You do it, solely for Your Mercy. You grant us Your grace only because You are good and full of love. We were not at all necessary for Your happiness, but You, Lord, want to share with us Your own happiness. But the man did not stand the test. You could have punished him like the angels by rejecting him eternally, but here Your Mercy was manifested and Your insides were shaken by great Mercy and You Yourself promised to repair our salvation.
You did, not punish us as we deserved due to the inconceivable abyss of Your compassion. May Your Mercy be adored, oh Lord, we will glorify it forever. Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen. Jesus I Trust in You (Diary, 1743).
