REFLECTION:

“JESUS loves hidden souls. A hidden flower is the one that has the most perfume within it. Seek a retreat for the Heart of JESUS in my own interior. In difficult and painful moments I sing to You, oh Creator, a hymn of trust, because the abyss of my trust towards You, towards Your Mercy, is immeasurable.

From the moment I began to love suffering, it ceased to be suffering for me. Suffering is the continuous food of my soul.

I will not talk to a certain person, because I know that JESUS does not like this, and she does not get any benefit from it”. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 275-276-277).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to fully trust in the King of Mercy.

– Let us ask for the Grace to maintain calm and serenity in the face of suffering.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Be in an environment that favors inner silence.

– Pray the chaplet of divine mercy.

– Respect the hour of mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“At the feet of the LORD, Oh hidden JESUS, eternal Love, our Life, […] You have forgotten Yourself and see only us. Even before creating heaven and earth, You carried us in Your Heart. Oh Love, oh abyss of Your humiliation, oh mystery of happiness, why is the number of those who know You so small? Why do You not find reciprocity? Oh Divine Love, why do You hide Your beauty? Oh Inconceivable and Infinite, the more I know You, the less I understand You; but since I cannot understand You, I understand Your greatness more. I do not envy the fire of the seraphim, because in my heart I have deposited a greater gift. (124) They admire You in ecstasy, but Your Blood joins mine. Love is the heaven that is already given to us here on earth. Oh, why do You hide behind faith? Love tears the veil. There is no veil before the eyes of my soul because You Yourself have drawn me from eternity to the bosom of a mysterious love. Oh indivisible Trinity, only GOD, to You honor and glory for all ages”.
