- REFLECTION:
“Love expels fear from the soul. Since I loved GOD with all my being, with all the strength of my heart, since then fear has subsided and even though they tell me I do not know what about His justice, I am not afraid of Him at all, because I knew Him well: GOD is Love and His Spirit is peace. And now I see that my works that came out of love are more perfect than the works that I did out of fear. I have put my trust in GOD, and I am not afraid of anything, I have given myself completely to His Holy Will; Let Him do with me whatever He wants and I, in any case, will always love Him” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my Soul, Diary, 589).
- SUPPLICATIONS:
– Let us ask for the Grace to remove fear and to grow in blind trust and sincere surrender in the hands of the King of Mercy.
– Let us pray for those who have their own strength, so that they learn to depend on the Mercy of the LORD.
– For our suffering humanity.
– For the souls in Purgatory.
– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
– For our Holy Catholic Church.
– For our personal intentions.
- PURPOSE OF THE DAY:
– Remove fear and begin to fully trust in the LORD.
– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
– Respect the Hour of Mercy.
– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.
- CLOSING PRAYER:
“I III 1936… I trust in You, Merciful GOD and I wish to be the first to show the trust that You demand from souls. Oh eternal Truth, help me and illuminate the path of life and make Your Will be fulfilled in me.” (cf. Diary 615).
Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU!
