REFLECTION:

“(8) 9. + Today my soul has the nature of a child. I unite myself to GOD as the child does to the Father. I fully feel like the daughter of GOD.

By receiving Holy Communion, I had a deeper knowledge of the HEAVENLY FATHER and his fatherhood towards souls.

Today I live from the adoration of the HOLY TRINITY. I thank GOD for having deigned to adopt us, through Grace, as His children” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, DIARY, 1818-1819).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Ask for the Grace to be like children in the hands of the Creator and fully trust in His Mercy.

– Pray for those who offend the LORD and do not trust in His goodness.

– Pray for abandoned children and marginalized women.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Worship the HOLY TRINITY (in deep meditation).

– Make the Prayer to the HOLY TRINITY of Saint John Paul II: (See final prayer).

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

PRAYER TO THE HOLY TRINITY OF JOHN PAUL II (FOR THE JUBILEE 2000)

Blessed are you, FATHER, who in your infinite love has given us Your ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, made flesh by the work of the HOLY SPIRIT in the purest womb of the Virgin Mary, and born in Bethlehem two thousand years ago.

He has become our traveling companion and has given new meaning to history, which is a path made together, in work and suffering, in fidelity and love, towards those new heavens and towards that new earth, in which You, defeated death, will be all in all.

Praise and glory to You, Most HOLY TRINITY, only and supreme GOD!

Make, FATHER, by your Grace the Jubilee Year be a time of profound conversion and joyful return to You. Grant that it may be a time of reconciliation among men and of rediscovered concord among nations; time when spears are exchanged for sickles, and songs of peace follow the roar of weapons. Grant us, FATHER, to live the Jubilee Year docile to the voice of the SPIRIT, faithful in following CHRIST, assiduous in listening to the Word and in assiduous attention to the sources of Grace.

Praise and glory to You, Most HOLY TRINITY, only and supreme GOD!

Support, FATHER, with the strength of the SPIRIT, the commitment of the Church in favor of the new evangelization and guide our steps along the paths of the world to announce CHRIST with life, directing our earthly pilgrimage towards the City of light. Make, FATHER, the disciples of your Son shine for their love towards the poor and oppressed. May they be in solidarity with those in need, and generous in works of Mercy, and indulgent with their brothers to obtain indulgence and forgiveness from You themselves.

Praise and glory to You, Most HOLY TRINITY, only and supreme GOD!

Make, FATHER, that the disciples of Your Son, with their memory purified and their own faults recognized, may be one thing, so that the world may believe. Grant that the dialogue between the followers of the great religions will expand, so that all men discover the joy of being your children.

May the praying voices of the apostles and Christian martyrs, of the righteous of every people and of every time, be united to the supplicating voice of Mary, Mother of the people, so that the Holy Year may be for all and for all the Church, a reason for renewed hope and joy in the SPIRIT.
