REFLECTION:

29 XI [1936]. The Blessed Virgin has taught me how I should prepare for the feast of the NATIVITY OF THE LORD. I have seen Her today without the CHILD JESUS; She told me: My daughter, try to be meek and humble so that JESUS who lives continually in your heart can rest. Worship Him in your heart, do not leave your interior. I will obtain for you, My Daughter, the Grace of this type of interior life, that, without abandoning your interior, you fulfill all your duties on the outside with greater application. Remain continually with Him in your heart. He will be your strength. Maintain contact with creatures if necessity (191) and duties demand it. You are a pleasant dwelling place to the living GOD, in which He continually remains with love and pleasure, and the living Presence of GOD that you feel more vividly and evidently, will confirm you, My Daughter, in what I have said. Try to behave like this until Christmas Day, and then He Himself will make known to you how you should deal with Him and unite with Him. SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to closely follow the advice of the Blessed Virgin Mary and let us ask for the Grace to achieve Her main virtues.

– Let us pray for children around the world who live in conditions of extreme poverty.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Approach the celebration of the Nativity of the CHILD JESUS in Grace and with a grateful heart.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh eternal Light that comes to this Earth, illuminate my mind, and strengthen my will so that I do not stop in moments of difficult trials! May Your light dispel every shadow of doubt, may Your Omnipotence work through me. I trust in You, oh uncreated Light. You, oh CHILD JESUS, are my example in the fulfillment of the Will of Your Father. You who said: I come to fulfill Your Will, make me also (216) faithfully fulfill the Will of God in everything. Oh DIVINE CHILD, grant me this Grace. (Diary,830).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU!
