REFLECTION:

“…The flames of Mercy burn me; I wish to pour them out on the souls of men. Oh, what pain they give me when they do not want to accept them. – My daughter, do whatever is in your power to spread devotion to My Mercy. I will make up for what you lack. Tell suffering humanity to embrace My merciful Heart and I will fill it with peace. Say, My daughter, that I am Love and Mercy Themselves. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of Graces that it cannot contain them into itself, but rather radiates them over other souls” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1074).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to be true ambassadors of the King of Mercy, bringing the message of hope to others.

– Let us pray for those who seek happiness and the solution to their difficulties in wrong paths.

– Let us pray for the sick who have lost hope.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– To be Ambassador of the King of Mercy and Messenger of hope to suffering humanity and to inveterate sinners.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh GOD, through Your Mercy You have deigned to call human race into existence from nothingness, generously showering it with nature and Grace. But for Your goodness that has not [been] enough. You, oh LORD, in Your Mercy give us (102) eternal life. You admit us to Your eternal happiness and make us participate in Your intimate life and You do it only by Your Mercy. You grant us Your Grace only because You are good and full of love. We were not at all necessary for Your happiness, but You, LORD, want to share with us Your own happiness. – But the man did not resist the test; You could have punished him like the angels by rejecting him eternally, but here Your Mercy was manifested, and Your bowels were shaken by great pity and You Yourself promised to repair our salvation. You did not punish us as we deserved because of the inconceivable abyss of Your compassion. May Your Mercy be adored, oh LORD; we will glorify her forever… (cf. Diary 1743).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU!
