DEVOTION TO THE DIVINE MERCY

REFLECTIONS:
“Once, when I went to visit a sick sister [187] who was already eighty-four years old and distinguished by many virtues, I asked her: Sister, surely you are already prepared to appear before the LORD? She replied that she had been preparing for this last hour all her life and added that age does not exempt from struggle” (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 517).
SUPPLICATIONS:
– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to always be prepared,
– Let us pray for the elderly who are striving for holiness despite their sufferings.
– Let us pray for our suffering humanity.
– For all the priests.
– For the souls in Purgatory.
– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
– For our Holy Catholic Church.
– For our personal intentions.
PURPOSE OF THE DAY:
In an environment of interior silence, read and meditate on Heb 5,1-10.
– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.
– Respect the Hour of Mercy.
– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.
PRAYER:
O Eternal GOD, in whom Mercy is infinite and the treasure of compassion inexhaustible, turn to us Your kind gaze and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we do not despair or become discouraged, but, with great confidence, we let us submit to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy Itself.
Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. AMEN.
