REFLECTIONS:

… With the vows I have given myself all to You, I no longer have anything else that I could offer you.

JESUS told me: – My daughter, you have not offered me what is really yours.

I have become self-absorbed, and I have verified that I loved GOD with all the strength of my soul; and without being able to know what it was that I had not given to the LORD, I asked:

– JESUS, tell me and I will give it to You immediately with the generosity of my heart.

JESUS kindly told me: – Daughter, give me your misery because it is your exclusive property.

At that moment a ray of light illuminated my soul and I knew the entire abyss of my misery; At that very moment I embraced the Most Holy Heart of JESUS with such confidence that even if I had the sins of all the damned on my conscience, I would not doubt the Divine (50) Mercy, but rather, with a heart made of dust, I would throw myself into the abyss of Your mercy. I believe, O JESUS, that You would not reject me but would absolve me with the hand of the One who replaces You. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1318).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the grace to be aware of our miseries and to turn to the King of Mercy with confidence.

– Let us pray for those who live under the slavery of pride and for those who trust in their own strength so that they let themselves be guided by the Light of the Spirit.

– Let us pray for all the priests.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

Confidently approach my miseries to the King of Mercy.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

PRAYER:

OH JESUS, make my heart similar to Yours, or rather transform it into Your own [Heart] so that I can feel the needs of other hearts and especially those who suffer and are sad. May the rays of mercy rest in my heart. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU! (Diary, 514).
