REFLECTIONS:

During the meditation on sin, the LORD has made me aware of all the wickedness of sin and the ingratitude that is contained in it. I feel in my soul a great repugnance even for the smallest sin. (8) However, these eternal truths that they contemplate do not awaken in my soul even a shadow of disturbance or concern; despite my deep concern for them, my contemplation is not interrupted.

In this contemplation I do not experience outbursts of the heart but a deep peace and a singular interior recognition. Although love is great, there is a mysterious balance: not even receiving the Eucharist causes me emotion, but it introduces me into the deepest union where my love, fused to the love of God, are one” (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, La divina Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1334).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to live with deep interior peace and to take refuge in the Heart of JESUS in the face of temptations and every occasion of sin,

– Let us pray for the inveterate sinners and for our relatives who reject the goodness of the King of Mercy,

– For our suffering humanity,

– For the souls in Purgatory,

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary,

– For our Holy Catholic Church,

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

Make a good Confession with the firm decision to stay away from worldly actions.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

PRAYER:

At the feet of the LORD, O hidden JESUS, eternal Love, our Life, Divine Fool who has forgotten You Yourself and sees only us. Even before creating heaven and earth, You carried us in Your Heart. Oh Love, oh abyss of Your humiliation, oh mystery of happiness, why is the number of those who know You so small? Why don’t you find reciprocity? Oh Divine Love, why do you hide Your beauty? O Inconceivable and Infinite, the more I know You, the less I understand You; but since I cannot understand You, I understand your greatness more. I do not envy the fire to the seraphim, because in my heart I have deposited a greater gift. (124) They admire You in ecstasy, but Your Blood unites with mine. Love is the heaven that is already given to us here on earth. Oh why do you hide behind faith? Love tears the veil. There is no veil before the eyes of my soul because You Yourself have drawn me from eternity into the bosom of a mysterious love. Oh indivisible Trinity, only GOD, to You honor and glory for all centuries. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU! (Diary, 278).
