REFLECTION:

“+ Once the confessor told me to pray according to his intention, and I began a novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary. That novena consisted of praying the Salve Regina nine times. At the end of the ninth I saw the Virgin Mary with the CHILD JESUS in Her arms and I also saw my confessor who was kneeling at Her feet and talking to Her. I did not understand what I was talking about with the Virgin Mary because She was busy talking to the CHILD JESUS who had come down from the arms of the Blessed Mother and approached me. I could not stop admiring Her beauty. I heard some words that the Virgin Mary said to him, but I did not hear everything. The words are these: I am not only the Queen of Heaven, but also the Mother of Mercy and your Mother. At that moment she extended her right hand in which she had the cloak and covered the priest with it. At that moment the vision disappeared” (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my Soul, Diary, 330).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask to the LORD for the Grace of knowing that the Virgin Mary is our Mother and our Powerful Intercessor.

– Let us pray to the LORD for those who despise the figure of Mary in the history of our salvation.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– With devotion, pray the Hail Holy Queen prayer in the form of the novena as Saint Faustina advises us (start the novena today with The Salve prayer: (see the closing prayer).

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Hail Holy Queen”:

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, JESUS. Oh clement, Oh loving,

Oh sweet Virgin Mary!

Pray for us, Oh Holy Mother of God

That we may be made worthy of the promises of CHRIST. AMEN
