1. REFLECTION:

(252) 14 I 1937. Today JESUS entered my small, isolated room, wearing a light tunic, girded with a gold belt; A great Majesty shone from His entire silhouette and said: – My daughter, why do you allow yourself to be carried away by thoughts of fear? I answered: – Oh LORD, You know why. And He said to me: – Why? -This work scares me. You know that I am incapable of fulfilling it. And He said to me: -Why? -You see that I have no health, I have no education, I have no money, I am an abyss of misery, I am afraid of dealing with people. JESUS, I desire only You, You can free me from this. And the LORD told me: – My daughter, what you have told Me is true. You are very miserable, and it has pleased Me to carry out the work of Mercy precisely through you who are misery itself. Do not be afraid, I will not leave you alone. Do what you can for this cause, I will complete everything you lack; You know what is in your power, do it. The LORD looked deep into my being with great benevolence; I thought I was going to die of joy under this look. The LORD disappeared, the joy, the strength and the courage to act remained in my soul (253), but I was surprised that the LORD did not want to free me and did not change anything He once said; and despite all this joy, there is always a shadow of suffering. I see that love and suffering go together (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 881).

2. SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to remove fear and trustfully surrender ourselves into the hands of the LORD.

– Let us ask for the Grace to be aware of our miseries and always open ourselves to the Mercy of the LORD.

– Pray for the servants of the LORD who usually rely on their own strength, so that they recognize that they are instruments of Him.

– Pray for the sick who feel abandoned during their suffering, so that they always trust in the goodness of the LORD.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

3. PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Give up all fear and leave myself in the hands of the King of Mercy.

– Pray the meditated Chaplet of Divine Mercy pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

4. CONCLUDING PRAYER:

Oh Omnipotent and Merciful FATHER: knowing that Your divine goodness has no limits, although I am nothing more than an abyss of misery, I have complete confidence in your Mercy! Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS ​​I TRUST IN YOU!
