REFLECTION:

“12. + Today my soul prepares for the coming of the SAVIOR who is goodness and Mercy itself. Temptations and distractions shake me and do not allow me to prepare for the coming of the LORD. I fervently desire to receive you, oh LORD, because I know that when you come, you will free me from these torments. And if Your will is for me to suffer, then strengthen me for the fight.

JESUS, SAVIOR who deigned (10) to come into my heart, remove these distractions that prevent me from talking to You.

JESUS answered me: I want you to be like an officer trained in fighting who, amidst the roar of bullets, knows how to give orders to others. Likewise, you, My daughter, among the greatest difficulties, you must know how to control yourself and let nothing separate you from Me, not even your falls.

Today I have struggled all day against a certain difficulty that You, JESUS, know…”. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1823).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Ask the LORD for the Grace of knowing how to dominate our relativism so that nothing separates us from the King of Mercy.

– Ask for the Grace of receiving the LORD with a clean heart.

– Pray for those who feel abandoned during their sufferings.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Avoid seeing my sufferings as punishment.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh my JESUS, I understand the meaning of the host. I understand the meaning of the offering. I wish to be a living host before Your Majesty, that is, a living offering that burns for Your glory every day.” (cf. Diary 1826). Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
