DEVOTION TO THE DIVINE MERCY

Daily Reflections, Supplications and Prayer

Saturday, December 3rd, 2022

1.REFLECTION:

“Once, when I went to confession outside the convent, it happened that my confessor [134] was celebrating Holy Mass. A moment later I saw, on the altar, the CHILD JESUS who affectionately and with joy extended his little hands towards him, but that priest, a moment later, took this beautiful Child in his hands and broke it and ate it alive. At first, I felt aversion to that priest for behaving like that with JESUS, but immediately I was enlightened about it, and I knew that the priest was very pleasing to GOD“. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 312).

2.SUPPLICATIONS:

Am I, really aware of what happens during a Eucharistic celebration?

What does it mean for me to “be pleasing to GOD?

– Let us pray:

– For our suffering humanity,

– For the souls in Purgatory,

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary,

– For our Holy Catholic Church,

– For our personal intentions.

  1. PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary,

– For our Holy Catholic Church,

  1. PRAYER:

Oh JESUS, make my heart similar to Yours, or rather transform it into Your own [Heart] so that I can feel the needs of other hearts and especially those who suffer, who are sad and who have not yet known your love. May the rays of your mercy rest in my heart. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU!
