REFLECTION:

Silence is a sword in the spiritual fight; a talkative soul will not reach holiness. This sword of silence will cut everything that wants to stick to the soul. We are sensitive to words, and we want to respond immediately, sensitive, regardless of whether it is the will of GOD to speak for us. The silent soul is strong; no inconvenience will harm you if you persevere in silence. The silent soul (198) is capable of the deepest union with GOD; almost always lives under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In the silent soul GOD works without obstacles (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 477).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to cultivate interior silence and humble devotion,

– Let us pray for the proud, the violent and all those who promote anti-values in life,

– For our suffering humanity,

– For the souls in Purgatory,

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary,

– For our Holy Catholic Church,

– For our personal intentions

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

Prepare for a deep union with the King of Mercy.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

PRAYER:

Oh eternal Truth, Incarnate Word that You have fulfilled the will of Your Father in a more faithful way, today I become a martyr of Your inspirations for not being able to carry them out, since I lack my own will; despite clearly knowing Your holy will (205) within me, I submit myself in everything to the will of the Superiors and the confessor; I will fulfill it to the extent that You allow me through your representative. Oh my JESUS, I put the voice of the Church before the voice with which You speak to me. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen (Diary, 497).
