Daily Reflections, Supplications and Prayers
- REFLECTION:
Year 1934. On the day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary I did not go to Holy Mass. The doctor [139] did not allow me, but I prayed fervently in the cell. Shortly after I saw the Virgin Mary who was of indescribable beauty and who told me:
My daughter, I demand of you a prayer, prayer and once again prayer for the world, and especially for your Homeland. For nine days receive the restorative Holy Communion, closely join the sacrifice of the Holy Mass. During these nine days you will be before GOD as an offering, everywhere, continually, in every place and at every moment, day and night, every time you wake up, pray inside. It is possible to pray inwardly without ceasing. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 325).
- SUPPLICATIONS:
– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to pray with the heart and to make prayer our joy of living.
– Let us ask the LORD to have Mercy on our suffering humanity and for the end of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world.
– Let us pray for atheists and for all those who do not trust in the LORD and do not know His love.
– For our suffering humanity.
– For the souls in Purgatory.
– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
– For our Holy Catholic Church.
– For our personal intentions.
- PURPOSE OF THE DAY:
– Confidently ask for the help of the Virgin Mary.
– Pray the Chaplet to the Divine Mercy.
– Respect the Hour of Mercy.
– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.
- CLOSING PRAYER:
Oh LORD, I feel that my heart is filled with Your love, that the rays of Your Mercy and Your love have penetrated my soul. Here I am, LORD, I am going to respond to Your call, I am going to conquer souls sustained by Your Grace; I am willing to follow You, LORD, not only to Tabor, but also to Calvary. I wish to bring souls to the Source of Your Mercy so that the radiance of the rays of Your Mercy is reflected in all souls, so that the house of our Father will be full and when the enemy begins to shoot arrows at me, then I will cover myself. with Your Mercy as with a shield. (cf. Diary, 1488).
Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
