REFLECTION:

“Now I see clearly how GOD works through the confessor and how He is faithful to His promises. Two weeks ago the confessor ordered me to meditate on the infancy of the spirit. At first this was somewhat difficult for me, however, the confessor, without paying attention to my difficulty, ordered me to continue the meditation on the infancy of the spirit. In practice this childhood should manifest itself like this: The child does not worry about the past or the future, but rather takes advantage of the present moment. I wish to highlight this infancy of the spirit in you, sister, and I attach great importance to that”. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 333).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace of being obedient penitents and capable of making good spiritual discernment.

– Let us pray for our confessors.

– Pray for those who do not believe in the forgiveness of sins and do not trust in the importance of virtues.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Make spiritual childhood key to my progress towards perfection.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“[Oh my Good JESUS], although You take the appearance of a little child, I see in You the Immortal, the Infinite LORD of Lords, adored (141) day and night by the pure spirits, for whom the hearts of men burn.” the seraphim with the fire of the purest love. Oh CHRIST, oh JESUS, I wish to surpass them in love towards You. I ask your forgiveness, oh pure spirits, for having dared to compare myself with you. I, an abyss of misery, a maelstrom of misery, but You, oh GOD, who are an inconceivable abyss of Mercy, absorb me as the heat of the sun absorbs a drop of dew. Your loving gaze smoothest every abyss. I feel extremely happy about the greatness of GOD. See the greatness of GOD, it is absolutely enough for me to feel happy for all eternity”. (cf. Diary 334). Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
