REFLECTION:

“I wish to satisfy JESUS according to the kind [of sin]. Today, for seven hours I wore a waist of chains to implore the Grace of repentance for a certain soul; at the seventh hour I felt relief, because that soul already received the forgiveness although he had not yet confessed. The sin of the senses: I mortify the body and fasting according to the permission I have; the sin of pride: I pray with my forehead resting on the ground; the sin of hatred (14): I pray and do a work of charity to the person with whom I have difficulties, and thus, according to the type of known sins, I satisfy justice.” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1248).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to mortify myself with love for sinners who do not trust in the forgiveness of sins.

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace of growing in main virtues for a soul that wants to tend towards perfection.

– Let us pray the LORD for those who promote anti-values in social life and for purity of intention in our hearts.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Make a spiritual life project.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh Omnipotent GOD, ever merciful, Your compassion [is] always inexhaustible. Although my misery [is] great as the sea, I have full confidence in the Mercy of the LORD.” (cf. Diary 1298).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
