Reflection:

While I was praying I heard these words: – My daughter, may your heart be filled with joy. I, the LORD, am with you, do not be afraid of anything, you are in My Heart. At that moment I knew the great Majesty of GOD, and I understood that nothing can be compared to a single act of knowing GOD. All external greatness disappears like dust in the face of a single act of the deepest knowledge of GOD.

The LORD has instilled in my soul a peace so deep that nothing can disturb it anymore. Despite everything that happens around me, I do not lose my peace of mind for a moment; even if the whole world collapsed, not even that would be able to disturb the depth and silence within me where GOD rests. All events and the most varied things that happen are under your feet.

This deeper knowledge of GOD gives me complete freedom, spiritual freedom and nothing can disturb my close union with Him; not even the angelic powers can do so. I feel that I am great when I am united with GOD. What happiness to have the knowledge of GOD in the heart and to live with Him in close intimacy (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1133-1135).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to pray with the heart and to live without fear.

– Let us pray for broken families, for abandoned children and for the sick who do not have access to a doctor.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Reflect on the cause of my fears.

– Pray the Chaplet to the Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh JESUS, I want to live in the present moment, live as if this day were the last of my life: zealously take advantage of each moment for the greater glory of GOD, enjoy each circumstance so that the soul benefits. Look at everything from the point of view that without the will of GOD nothing happens. (cf. Diary, 1183)

Oh my good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
