REFLECTION:

“(252) 14 I 1937. Today JESUS has entered my small, isolated room, with a light tunic, girdled with a golden belt; a great Majesty shone from all His silhouette and said: – My daughter, why do you let yourself thought of fear? I replied: – Oh LORD, You know why. And He said: – Why? – This work frightens me. You know that I am incapable of doing it. And he said: – Why? – You see that I am not healthy, I have no education, I have no money, I am an abyss of misery, I am afraid to deal with people. JESUS, I desire only You, You can free me from this. And the Lord said to me: – Daughter Mine, what you have told Me is true. You are very miserable, and I have been pleased to carry out the work of Mercy precisely through you who are misery itself. Do not be afraid, I will not leave you alone. Do for this cause what you You can, I will complete everything you lack, you know what is in your power, do it. The LORD looked into the depths of my being with great benevolence, I thought I was going to die of joy under this gaze. The LORD disappeared, joy, strength, and encouragement to work remained in my soul (253), but I was surprised that the LORD did not want to free me and did not change anything He once said; and despite all this joy, there is always a shadow of suffering. I see that love and suffering go together”. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 881).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask to the LORD for the Grace to grow in humility.

– Let us pray for the souls who have lost hope.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Live with humility always.

– Pray the Chaplet to Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh JESUS, my beloved Husband, I beg you for the triumph of the Church, especially in Russia and Spain, for the blessing […] of all the clergy, for the Grace of conversion for inveterate sinners; I ask you, oh JESUS, a special blessing and light for the priests before whom I will confess throughout my life”. (Diary 240).

Convert me to you, LORD, and I will become a docile instrument of your Mercy in this world without true peace. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
