REFLECTION:

«(58) 10 X [1937]. – Oh my JESUS, to thank you for so many graces, I offer you my soul and my body, my intellect, and my will and all the feelings of my heart. With the vows I have given myself all to You, I no longer have anything else that I could offer you.

Jesus told me: – My daughter, you have not offered Me what is really yours.

I have become self-absorbed, and I have verified that I loved GOD with all the strength of my soul; and not being able to know what it was that I had not given to the LORD, I asked:

– JESUS, tell me and I will give it to You immediately with the generosity of my heart.

JESUS kindly told me: – Daughter, give me your misery because it is your exclusive property.

At that moment a ray of light illuminated my soul and I knew the entire abyss of my misery; at that very moment I embraced the Most Holy Heart of JESUS with such confidence that even if I had the sins of all the damned on my conscience, I would not doubt the Divine (50) Mercy, but rather, with a heart made of dust, I would throw myself into the abyss of your Mercy. I believe, O JESUS, that You would not reject me but would absolve me with the hand of the one who replaces You” (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1318).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to always depend on the Mercy of the LORD.

– Let us ask for the Grace to be aware of our miseries so that we can go to Confession with a repentant heart.

– Let us pray for the pride of heart who think that by having material things they have everything, so that they allow themselves to be sustained by the grace of the Lord.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Make the list of my miseries and give it to the LORD with confidence.

– Pray the chaplet to the Meditated Divine Mercy pdf,

– Respect the hour of Mercy,

– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

FINAL PRAYER:

I salute you, most compassionate Heart of my GOD, Unfathomable, living source of love, from which life flows for sinners, and torrents of all sweetness. I greet you, Open Wound of the Most Sacred Heart, from which came the rays of Mercy and from which it is given to us to draw life, only with the recipient of trust. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen.
