REFLECTION:

«… JESUS: – It pleases me to talk to you and your gratitude opens new treasures of Graces for you, but, My child, let us speak perhaps not so generally, but in detail about what weighs most on your heart; let is talk confidentially and sincerely as two hearts that love each other.

The soul: – Oh my Merciful LORD, there are secrets in my heart of which no one knows nor will anyone outside of You, because even if I wanted to tell them, no one would understand me. Your representative knows something, since I confess to him, but as much as I am capable of revealing to him these secrets, the rest remains between us for Eternity, oh my LORD! (94). You have covered me with the mantle of Your Mercy, always forgiving my sins. Not once have you denied me Your forgiveness, but having compassion for me, You have always filled me with a new life, the life of Grace. So that I have no doubts about anything, You have entrusted me to the affectionate protection of Your Church, this true, tender mother who in Your name affirms me in the truths of the Faith and watches that I never err. And especially in the tribunal of Your Mercy my soul experiences a whole sea of benevolence. You have not given the fallen angels time to do penance, you have not extended the time of Mercy for them. Oh my LORD, on the path of my life You have placed some holy Priests who show me a safe path. JESUS, in my life there is one more secret, the deepest, but also the dearest to me, You are Yourself under the species of bread when You come to my heart. Here is the whole secret of my holiness. Here my heart united to Yours becomes one, here there is no longer any secret, because all of Yours is mine, and what is mine is Yours. Behold the omnipotence and (95) the miracle of Your Mercy.

Even if all the human and angelic languages were united, they would not find enough words to express this Mystery of Love and of Your unfathomable Mercy. When I consider this Mystery of Love, my heart enters a new ecstasy of love and I speak to You about everything, LORD, keeping silent, because the language of love is without words, because not a single beat of my heart escapes.

Oh LORD, despite the fact that You have humbled Yourself so much, Your greatness has multiplied in my soul and for this reason an even greater love for You, the only object of my love, has awakened in my soul, because the life of love and of the union is manifested on the outside as: perfect purity, deep humility, sweet meekness, great fervor for the salvation of souls.

Oh my most sweet LORD, watch over me at all times and inspire me on how I should behave in a given case; when my heart oscillated between one thing and another, You Yourself intervened, more than once, to solve the matter. Oh, how many and innumerable times, with a sudden light You made me know (96) what pleased You the most. Oh, how numerous are these secrets pardons of which no one knows. Many times, You have poured into my soul strength and courage to move forward. You Yourself eliminated the difficulties, [375] from my path intervening directly in the actions of men.

Oh JESUS, all that I have told You is a pale shadow against the reality that is in my heart. Oh my JESUS, how much I desire the conversion of sinners. You know what I do for them to conquer them for You.

Every offense made against You hurts me greatly. You know that I spare neither strength, nor health, nor life in defense of Your kingdom. Although on earth my efforts are invisible, but they have no less value in Your eyes.

Oh JESUS, I wish to attract souls to the Source of Your Mercy so that they may drink the life-giving water of life with the vessel of trust. If the soul wishes to experience a greater Mercy of GOD, approach GOD with great trust and if its trust is without limits, the Mercy of GOD will also be without limits for that soul. Oh my LORD, (97) that You know every beat of my heart, You know with what ardor I desire that all hearts beat exclusively for You, that each soul glorify the greatness of Your Mercy…” (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1489).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to approach the LORD with confidence and always converse with Him sincerely.

– Let us ask for the Grace to always be guided by the KING of Mercy.

– Let us pray for those who offend the LORD and reject His Grace.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– In deep recollection, express to the KING of Mercy our love and gratitude.

– Pray the chaplet to the Meditated Divine Mercy pdf,

– Respect the hour of Mercy,

– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CONCLUDING SENTENCE:

Oh my JESUS, from the moment I totally abandoned myself to You, I do not think about myself at all. You can do with me what pleases You, I think of only one thing, that is: what do you prefer the most? What is it, Oh LORD, with which I can please You? I listen carefully and pay attention to every occasion; it does not matter if it is judged differently from the outside, in such a case. Help me to always live in your Presence and to always trust in You. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, KING of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS, I TRUST YOU! (cf. Diary 1493).
