REFLECTION:

“The soul should pray ardently for the spiritual director for a longer time and ask GOD to deign to choose him Himself. What is started with GOD, will be from GOD, and what is started with purely human means, will be human. GOD is so merciful that, to (287) help the soul, He Himself assigns it a spiritual guide, and enlightens it that it is the one before whom it must reveal the most secret corners of its soul, as before the LORD JESUS. And when the soul reflects and knows that everything has been directed by GOD, ardently ask GOD to grant it much light to know its soul, and not to change such director, unless there is a serious reason. As before choosing the spiritual director prayed a lot and ardently to know the will of GOD, so also when you want to change him, pray a lot and fervently to know if it is truly the Will of GOD to leave him and choose the other. If there is no obvious Will of GOD regarding this, do not change it, because the soul alone will not get very far and Satan precisely wants the soul that tends towards holiness to guide itself, since then, there is no way to reach it. SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace of having a spiritual director according to the will of the LORD.

– Let us ask for the Grace to let myself be loved and guided only by GOD.

– Pray for priests.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Give up the arrogance of wanting to guide myself alone without the support of the spiritual director.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh my JESUS, You see that Your holy Will is everything to me. I am indifferent to what You make of me: You order me to get to work, I do it calmly, despite knowing that I am not suitable for this; You make me wait through Your substitutes, so I wait patiently…“ (cf. Diary, 952).

Give us holy priests and grant us the Grace to allow ourselves to be guided humbly by You and with Your help.

Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
