  1. REFLECTION:

“+ Up to here, everything could be endured. But when the LORD asked me to paint this image, then really, they started talking and looking at me like I was hysterical and excited, and it started to spread even more. One of the sisters came to talk to me in private. And he began to pity me. He told me: I hear that you, sister, are an exalted, that you have some visions. Poor sister, defend yourself against it. (59) That soul was sincere and what she had heard she told me so honestly. But I had to hear such things every day. GOD only knows how much it tormented me.”

“However, I decided to endure everything in silence and not give explanations to the questions they asked me. Some of them were irritated by my silence, especially the most curious ones. Others, those with deeper thoughts, said that surely Sister Faustina would be very close to GOD, seeing that I had the strength to endure so much suffering. And I saw before me like two groups of judges. I tried to achieve interior and exterior silence. I did not say anything about myself, although I was questioned directly by some sisters. My mouth fell silent. I suffered like a dove, without complaining. However, some sisters found it almost a pleasure to worry me in any way. My patience irritated them, but GOD gave me so much interior strength that I bore it calmly”. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 125-126).

  1. CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh my JESUS, You know what my soul experiences when remembering those torments. More than once I have been surprised that the Angels and the saints remain silent when a soul endures such sufferings. However, they love us very especially in such moments More than once my soul cried out to GOD, like a little child scream with all his might when his mother covers his face, and he cannot recognize her. Oh my JESUS, for these proofs of love, be glory and honor to You. Your Mercy is great and inconceivable. Oh LORD, all Your projects regarding my soul are full of Your Mercy”. (Diary, 116).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
