REFLECTION:

“(93) Today a big storm woke me up, the wind was furious, and it was raining as if there were a hurricane, lightning fell every so often. I began to pray that the storm would not cause any damage; suddenly I heard these words: – Pray the Chaplet that I have taught you and the storm will stop. Immediately I have started to pray the Chaplet and I have not even finished it when the storm has stopped, and I heard these words: – Through it you will obtain everything if what you ask for is in accordance with My will”. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1731).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to turn to the LORD in every circumstance of our life.

– Let us pray for those who abuse the innocence of children so that they begin to live with the fear of GOD.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Maintain serenity in moments of suffering.

– Pray the Chaplet to the Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh JESUS, give me strength to support the sufferings and so that I do not make a bad face when I drink the chalice of bitterness. Help me Yourself so that my sacrifice may be pleasing to You, so that my self-esteem does not profane it, even if it lasts for years. May the purity of intention make it pleasant and new and alive for You”. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU! (cf. Diary, 1740).
