REFLECTION:

(154) + On a certain occasion JESUS made me know that when I pray for some intention that is sometimes recommended to me, He is always ready to grant His Graces, but souls do not always want to accept them. My Heart is full of great Mercy for souls and especially for poor sinners. Oh, if they could understand that I am the best Father for them, that for the Blood and Water have flowed from My Heart as from an overflowing fountain of Mercy; for them I live in the Tabernacle; as King of Mercy I wish to fill souls with Graces, but they do not want to accept them. At least you come to Me as often as possible and take these Graces that they do not want to accept and with this you will console My Heart. Oh, how great is the indifference of souls for so much goodness, for so many proofs of love. My Heart is rewarded only with ingratitude, with forgetfulness on the part of the souls that live in the world. They have time for everything, they just do not have time to come to Me to receive the Graces…

…I do not want to punish suffering humanity, but I want to heal it, embrace it to My Merciful Heart. I make use of punishments when I am forced to; My hand resists taking the sword of justice… (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 367 and 1588)

2.SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for Grace to always remember that the Heart of JESUS is full of love for each one of us.

– Let us beg the Mercy of the LORD for the souls in Purgatory, for marriages that suffer infidelities and for disunited families.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Open myself to the Grace of the LORD.

– Pray the Chaplet to the Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh Blood and Water that flowed from the Heart of JESUS, as a source of Mercy for us, I trust in You” (3x) Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU! (cf. Diary, 84).
