REFLECTION

“I heard these words: – If you did not tie My hands, I would send many punishments on earth. My daughter, your look disarms My anger; even if your mouth is silent, you call Me with such force that the whole heaven shakes. I cannot govern your supplication, because you do not pursue Me at a great distance but in your own heart”.

“(88) One night the soul of a certain young lady came to see me and made me feel her presence, letting me know that she needed my prayer. I prayed for a moment, but her spirit did not leave me. Then I said within myself: if you are a good spirit, leave me alone and the indulgences tomorrow will be for you. At that moment, that spirit left my room; I knew that she was in Purgatory”. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1722-1723).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to intercede with our hearts for those souls who have lost hope.

– Let us pray for our own conversion and for the renunciation of what separates us from the love of the LORD.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Intercede generously for those who seek the LORD in the wrong ways.

– Pray the Chaplet to the Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh GOD who by Your Mercy You have condescended to call the human race from nothing to existence generously filling it with nature and Grace. But for Your goodness that [has not been] enough. You, oh LORD, in Your Mercy You give us eternal life. You admit us to Your eternal happiness and make us participate in Your intimate life and You do it solely because of Your Mercy. You grant us Your Grace solely because You are good and full of love. We were not necessary for Your happiness, but You, LORD, want to share with us Your own happiness, but man did not stand the test, You could have punished him like angels, rejecting him eternally, but here Your Mercy was manifested, and Your bowels were shaken by great pity and You Yourself promised to repair our salvation. You did not punish us as we had deserved it due to the inconceivable abyss of Your compassion. May Your Mercy be adored, Oh LORD; we will glorify it forever…” (Diary, 1743).

Oh LORD, all Your projects regarding my soul are full of Your Mercy.

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
