1.REFLECTION:
The LORD has taught me that if a soul does not accept the Graces that have been destined for it, another soul receives them at that very moment. Oh my JESUS, make me worthy of receiving the Graces, because by myself I cannot do anything, without Your help I am not even capable of pronouncing Your name with dignity.
(43) 25 IX [1937]. When I have known how enormous are the difficulties in all this work, I went to the Lord and said to him: JESUS, do you not see how they hinder Your work? And I heard a voice in my soul: Do what is in your power and do not worry about the rest; these difficulties prove that this work is Mine. Stay calm if you do everything in your power (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1294-1295).
2. SUPPLICATIONS:
– Let us ask for the Grace to humbly accept the grace of the LORD.
– Let us pray for all those who are in the prison of Purgatory and for the sinners who reject the Mercy of the LORD.
– For our suffering humanity.
– For the souls in Purgatory.
– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
– For our Holy Catholic Church.
– For our personal intentions
3. PURPOSE OF THE DAY:
– Always open me to the Grace of the LORD.
– Pray the Chaplet to Divine Mercy.
– Respect the Hour of Mercy.
– Seek to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.
4. CLOSING PRAYER:
Oh my GOD, despite all the Graces I continuously yearn for eternal union with my GOD; the more I know about it, the more ardently I desire it. (cf. Diary, 1303).
Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU!
