REFLECTION:

«7 I. During the Holy Hour the LORD granted me to experience His Passion. I shared the bitterness of the Passion with which His soul was filled. JESUS made me know how the soul must be faithful to prayer, despite tribulations and aridity and temptations, because the realization of the great projects of GOD sometimes depends largely on such prayer; and if we do not persevere in such prayer, we put impediments to what GOD wants to do through us or in us. Let every soul remember these words: And finding himself in a difficult situation, he begged for more time. I always prolong such prayer as much as it is possible and compatible with my duties” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 872).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to overcome my fatigue and discouragement that sometimes hinders my spiritual life.

– Let us ask for the Grace to be obedient to the will of the LORD.

– Let us pray the LORD for those who are going through times of trials and great temptations.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Go to the Blessed Sacrament to console the wounded Heart of the King of Mercy.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh JESUS, make my heart like Yours, or rather transform it into Your own [Heart] so that I may feel the needs of other hearts and, especially, of those who suffer and are sad. May the rays of Mercy rest in my heart”. “JESUS, help me go through life doing good to everyone”. (cf. Diary 514-692).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU!
