REFLECTION:

(144) I have noticed that since I entered the convent they only criticized me, that I am a saint; but this nickname was always pronounced with sarcasm. At first that made me suffer, but when I rose higher, I stopped caring. However, once when a certain person was affected because of my holiness, I suffered a lot seeing that I could be the cause of other people’s dislikes and I complained to JESUS, why was it like that. And the LORD answered me: – Are you saddened by it? If you are. Soon I Myself will manifest it in you and pronounce the same word: “Holy” but this time only with love.

I remind you, My daughter, how many times you hear the clock striking three, immerse yourself totally in My Mercy, adoring and glorifying it; begs His omnipotence for the whole world and especially for poor sinners, since at that moment He opened wide for every (145) soul. In that hour you can get everything you ask for yourself and for others. In that hour Grace was established for the entire world: Mercy triumphed over justice. My daughter, at that time try to pray the Stations of the Cross, as soon as your homework allows it; and if you cannot pray the Stations of the Cross, at least enter the chapel for a moment and adore My Heart, which is full of Mercy, in the Blessed Sacrament. And if you cannot enter the chapel, immerse yourself in prayer wherever you are, even for a very brief moment. I demand the worship of My Mercy from each creature, but first from you, since I have made this mystery known to you in a more profound way (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1571-1572).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace to fight for our holiness with humble devotion.

– Let us ask the LORD to have Mercy on our suffering humanity and for the end of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world.

– Let us pray for all the impossible cases and for the souls in Purgatory.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Dialogue with the LORD with sincerity and confidence.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh JESUS, my only comfort. Oh, how terrible is banishment; Oh, what a jungle I must go through. My soul makes its way through the terrifying thicket of different difficulties. If You Yourself did not support me, LORD, it would be absolutely impossible to move forward. (cf. Diary, 1606).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
