REFLECTION:

“(58) 10 X [1937]. Oh my JESUS, to thank You for so many Graces, I offer you my soul and body, my intellect and will and all the feelings of my heart. With the vows I have given myself completely to You, I no longer have anything else that I could offer You. JESUS told me: -My daughter, you have not offered me what is really yours. I have absorbed myself and have confirmed that I loved GOD with all the strength of my soul; and without being able to know what it was that I had not given to the LORD, I asked: – JESUS, tell me and I will give it to You immediately with the generosity of my heart. Jesus kindly told me: – Daughter, give me your misery because it is your exclusive property. At that moment a ray of light illuminated my soul and I knew the entire abyss of my misery; At that very moment I embraced the Most Holy Heart of JESUS with such confidence that, even if I had the sins of all the damned on my conscience, I would not doubt the Divine (50) Mercy, but, with my heart broken, I would throw myself in the abyss of Your mercy. I believe, Oh JESUS, that You would not reject me, but that You would absolve me with the hand of the one who replaces You.” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1318).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to confidently hand over to the LORD all the miseries of my poor heart.

– Let us ask for the Grace to always be prepared to receive forgiveness and grace from the LORD.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Approach confession with a sincere and repentant heart.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh my JESUS, delight of my heart, You know my desires. I would like to hide myself from human eyes, living as if I did not live. I want to live [purely] like a field flower; I want my love to always be directed toward You, like the flower that always turns towards the sun. I wish that the perfume and freshness of the flower of my heart are always kept exclusively for You. I want to live under Your divine gaze, since You alone are enough for me. When I am with You, Oh JESUS, I am not afraid of anything, because nothing can harm me.” (Cf. Diary 306) Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope.. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
