REFLECTION:

“At that moment I saw JESUS from Whose Heart the same two rays came out and enveloped me completely. In that same moment my torments disappeared. – My daughter, said the Lord, you must know that what you have gone through now is what you are for yourself; and only by force of My Grace are you a participant in eternal life and in all the gifts that I generously grant you. And with these words of the LORD has come a true knowledge of myself. JESUS teaches me a profound humility and at the same time an absolute trust in Him. My heart is reduced to ashes, to dust and even if all people despised me, I would consider it (137) a Grace too. I feel and am deeply convinced that I am a nonentity, that true humiliations will be my relief”. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1559).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to allow ourselves to be sustained by the Grace of the LORD.

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace of knowing ourselves better.

– Let us pray for priests so that they always have the will to make known the devotion to Divine Mercy.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Pray in front of the image of Divine Mercy.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh my JESUS, my only Mercy, let me see joy in Your face as a sign of reconciliation with me, because my heart will not be able to bear Your seriousness, if You prolong it even a moment, it will break with pain.” (cf. Diary 1562).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
