REFLECTION:

“(19) 29 III 1937. Today, during meditation I saw the LORD in great beauty who told me: – Peace be with you, My daughter. My whole soul trembled with love for Him and I said: – Oh LORD, although I love You with all my heart, I beg You not to appear to me, because the Spiritual Father has told me that Your sudden appearances arouse suspicions that You are Perhaps some illusion. And although I love You more than my life and I know that You are the LORD and my GOD, who deals with me, nevertheless, above all I am obedient to the confessor.

JESUS listened with seriousness and kindness to what I was telling Him and told me: – Tell the confessor that I deal so intimately with your soul, why do you not steal My gifts and I pour out all the Graces on your soul, because I know that you will not appropriate them. And as a sign that his prudence is pleasing to Me, you will not see Me and I will not appear to you in this way until you tell him what I have told you. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1069).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to be guided by the Light of the HOLY SPIRIT and by the powerful intercession of the Virgin Mary, the Queen of Peace, so that we can respond promptly to the call of the LORD.

– Let us pray for those people who have contributed to our life of faith and ask for the Grace to be examples for those who still do not know the love of the King of Mercy.

– Let us pray for the sick who have lost hope.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Be open to the actions of the King of Mercy in our lives.

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh my JESUS, only You know what my heart is experiencing. Oh my Strength, You can do everything; and although I expose myself to great suffering, I will always remain faithful to You because a particular Grace of Yours sustains me. (cf. Diary 1071). Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST YOU!
