REFLECTION:

«(58) 10 X [1937]. Oh my JESUS, to thank You for so many Graces. I offer You the soul and the body, the intellect, and the will and all the feelings of my heart. With the vows I have given myself completely to You, I no longer have anything else that I could offer You. JESUS told me: – My daughter, you have not offered Me what is truly yours. I have absorbed myself and have realized that I loved GOD with all the strength of my soul; and without being able to know what it was that I had not given to the LORD, I asked: – Jesus, tell me and I will give it to You immediately with the generosity of my heart. JESUS kindly told me: – Daughter, give me your misery because it is your exclusive property. At that moment a ray of light illuminated my soul and I knew the entire abyss of my misery; At that very moment I embraced the Most Holy Heart of JESUS with such confidence that even if I had the sins of all the damned on my conscience, I would not doubt the Divine Mercy (59), but, with my heart broken, I would throw myself into the abyss of Your Mercy. I believe, oh JESUS, that You would not reject me but that You would absolve me with the hand of the one who replaces You” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1318).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to always depend on the Mercy of the LORD.

– Let us ask the LORD for the Grace of being aware of our miseries so that we can go to confession with a repentant heart.

– Let us pray for the proud of heart who think that because they have material things they have everything, so that they allow themselves to be sustained by the Grace of the LORD.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Make a list of my miseries and hand it over to the LORD with confidence.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“I greet You, most pious Heart of my GOD, Unfathomable, living source of love, from which springs life for sinners, and the torrents of all sweetness. I greet You, open wound of the Most Sacred Heart, from which came the rays of Mercy and from which it is given to us to draw life, only with the vessel of trust”. (cf. Diary 1321).

Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
