DEVOTION TO THE DIVINE MERCY

- REFLECTION:
«During the meditation I heard these words: – My daughter, you give me the greatest glory through the patient submission to My will, and you assure yourself such great merits that you would not achieve with fasting or with any mortifications.
You must know, my daughter, that if you submit your will to mine, you attract my great satisfaction; this sacrifice is pleasing to me and full of sweetness, in it I am pleased, it is powerful. » (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 904).
- SUPPLICATIONS:
– Let us ask for the Grace to patiently submit to the will of the LORD.
– Let us ask for the Grace to always seek what pleases the LORD.
– Let us pray for those who are far from the Grace of the LORD and who seek happiness in wrong ways.
– For our suffering humanity.
– For the souls in Purgatory.
– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
– For our Holy Catholic Church.
– For our personal intentions.
- PURPOSE OF THE DAY:
– Renounce my own will to always please the LORD.
Pray the chaplet to the Meditated Divine Mercy pdf.
Respect the hour of Mercy.
Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.
- FINAL PRAYER:
Oh JESUS, what a pity I feel for the poor sinners. Oh JESUS, grant them repentance and contrition. Remember Your painful Passion. I know Your infinite Mercy; I cannot bear that the soul that cost You so much perishes. Oh JESUS, give me the souls (267) of sinners. May Your Mercy rest on them, take everything from me, but give me these souls. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU! (cf. Diary 908).
