REFLECTION:

“And now I will tell you what is most important for you: unlimited sincerity with your spiritual director; if you do not take advantage of this Grace according to (138) my instructions, I will take it away from you and then you will be left alone with yourself and all the tribulations that you know will return to you. I do not like that you miss the opportunity when you can find him and talk to him. You must know that it is My enormous Grace if I give a soul the spiritual director. Many souls ask Me for it and I do not grant this Grace to all of them. At the moment in which I have given it to you as spiritual director, I have endowed it with a new light so that it can easily know and understand your soul…” (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1561).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask to the LORD for the Grace of having a spiritual director.

– Let us ask to the LORD for the Grace to communicate sincerely with the spiritual director.

– Pray for the intentions of the spiritual director that the LORD has given us.

– Ask the LORD for forgiveness for the times I criticize priests instead of praying for them.

– Let us ask to the LORD to have Mercy on our suffering humanity and for the end of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Go to spiritual direction to apply the advice of the King of Mercy (call your spiritual director by phone).

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf,

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“Oh Merciful JESUS, You who had on earth a favorite disciple for whom Your Divine Heart burned with a special love, remember that I also have a particularly dear and loved person. For the affection you had towards Saint John and towards Mary, Mother of Beautiful Love, and by your infinite Mercy, guide this beloved person to a better knowledge of You and to ardently love Your Merciful Heart; preserve her throughout life in Grace and health; bless her, enlighten her in her projects and in your decisions so that this loved one and I may always be faithful to each other and participate together in joys and sorrows, in love and friendship. May we always have limitless trust in your Infinite Mercy and let us spread and praise on earth and in Eternity.” Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope.
