REFLECTION:

“when i fell again into the same error despite the sincere intention of avoiding it, although this fall was a small imperfection and rather involuntary, nevertheless, i felt in my soul such a vivid pain that i interrupted my work and (42) went for a moment to the chapel, and i fell at the feet of jesus; with love and with great pain i asked the lord for forgiveness, even more ashamed that in the morning, speaking with him after holy communion, i promised him fidelity. suddenly i heard these words: if this little imperfection had not happened, you would not have come to me. you must know that every time you come to me, humbling yourself and asking for forgiveness, i pour out on your soul an immensity of graces and your imperfection disappears before me and i see only your love and your humility. you do not lose anything, but you gain a lot…”. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, the Divine Mercy in my soul, diary, 1293).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to recognize that our miseries are a meeting place with the Mercy of the LORD.

– Let us pray for sinners who reject the forgiveness of the LORD.

– Let us pray for the sick who trust in the healing power of the King of Mercy.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Ask for the Grace of having access to the Grace of the LORD.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh JESUS, Eternal GOD, I thank you for your countless Graces and blessings. May every beat of my heart be a new hymn of gratitude to You, oh GOD. May every drop of my blood circulate for You, LORD. My soul is a hymn of adoration to your Mercy. I love You, God, for Yourself. (cf. Diary 1794).
