- REFLECTION:
“The doctor did not allow me to go to the Passion in the chapel [302], despite the fact that I ardently wanted it; but I have prayed in my own room. Then I heard the bell in the next room, and I went in and attended to a seriously ill (8) Returning to my secluded room, I suddenly saw the LORD JESUS who told me: – My daughter, you have given me greater joy by doing me this favor than if you had prayed for a long time. I have cared for You, oh my JESUS, except for this sick person. And the LORD answered me: – Yes, My daughter, whatever you do to your neighbor you do to Me”. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1029).
- SUPPLICATIONS:
- Let us ask to the LORD for the Grace of not being indifferent to the suffering of those around us.
- Let us pray for those who hate us and wish us harm, so that the true love of the children of GOD may triumph in them.
- For our suffering humanity.
- For the souls in Purgatory.
- For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
- For our Holy Catholic Church.
- For our personal intentions.
- PURPOSE OF THE DAY:
– Say with the heart: – LORD JESUS, I have offended you, forgive me and help me to always be faithful to you.
– Pray the Chaplet to Divine Mercy.
– Respect the Hour of Mercy.
– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.
- CLOSING PRAYER:
“Oh Eternal Truth, grant me a ray of Your light so that I may know You, Oh LORD, and worthily glorify Your infinite Mercy and make me know, at the same time, myself, the whole abyss of Misery that I am”. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU! (cf. Diary, 727).
