REFLECTION:

“13+ Today my heart trembles with joy. I greatly desire that JESUS comes to my heart. I am filled with a burning desire, my heart eager to see Him is lit with an increasingly stronger love.

When JESUS came, I threw myself into His arms like a little girl. I told Him my joy. JESUS listened to these manifestations of my love. When I asked for forgiveness for not having prepared myself for Holy Communion, since I continually thought about sharing [with Him] this joy, JESUS answered me: – The most pleasant for Me is the preparation with which you have welcomed Me into your heart today. Today I bless this joy of yours in a special way. Nothing will disturb your joy today…”. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 1824).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to take the time of interior preparation before receiving the LORD in Holy Communion.

– Let us ask for the Grace of having your heart only for the LORD.

– Pray for those who usually take Communion without being aware of the presence of the LORD in that piece of bread.

– Pray for the Catechism children who are preparing for their First Communion.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

-Free my heart from that which could hinder my union with the LORD in Holy Communion.

– Pray the Meditated Divine Mercy Chaplet pdf.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to do at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Oh JESUS, hidden in the Host, my sweet Master and faithful Friend, oh how happy my soul is to have the friend who always keeps me company; I do not feel alone, despite being in isolation. Oh JESUS HOST, we know each other; This is enough for me. (cf. Diary 877). Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!
