REFLECTION:

“During a meditation on obedience I heard these words: – In this meditation, the priest speaks [156] in a special way for you, you have to know that I lend My mouth. I tried to listen with the greatest attention, and I applied everything to my heart, as in each meditation. When the priest affirms that the obedient soul is filled with the strength of GOD… Yes [157], when you are obedient, I take away your weakness and give you My strength. – I am very surprised that the souls do not want to make this change with Me. I said to the LORD: – JESUS, enlighten my soul, since otherwise I too will understand very little of these words”.

“(162) I know that I do not live for myself, but for a great number of souls. I know that the Graces granted to me are not only for me, but for souls. Oh JESUS, the abyss of Your Mercy has overturned in my soul which is the abyss of misery itself. I thank you, JESUS, for the Graces and the little pieces of the cross that you give me for every moment of life”. (Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, The Divine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 381-382).

SUPPLICATIONS:

– Let us ask for the Grace to humbly surrender our miseries and weaknesses to the LORD.

– Let us pray for those who do not have work and for poor families.

– For our suffering humanity.

– For the souls in Purgatory.

– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.

– For our Holy Catholic Church.

– For our personal intentions.

PURPOSE OF THE DAY:

– Bear witness to the Goodness of the LORD.

– Pray the Chaplet to Divine Mercy.

– Respect the Hour of Mercy.

– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.

CLOSING PRAYER:

“OH GOOD JESUS, I thank You for this great Grace, that is, for making me know what I am by myself, misery and sin, nothing more. By myself I can do only one thing, that is, offend You, oh my GOD, because misery by itself can do nothing but offend you, oh infinite Goodness”. Oh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope. Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU! (cf. Diary, 363).
