Reflection:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"Default\">(<b>252<\/b>) January 14, 1937. Today, Jesus entered my room wearing a bright robe and girded with a golden belt. His whole figure resplendent with great majesty. He said,\u00a0<b>My daughter, why are you giving in to thoughts of fear?\u00a0<\/b>I answered, \u201cO Lord, You know why.\u201d And He said,\u00a0<b>Why?\u00a0<\/b>\u201cThis work frightens me. You know that I am incapable of carrying it out.\u201d And He said,\u00a0<b>Why?\u00a0<\/b>\u201cYou see very well that I am not in good health, that I have no education, that I have no money, that I am an abyss of misery, that I fear contacts with people. Jesus, I desire only You. You can release me from this.\u201d And the Lord said to me,\u00a0<b>My daughter, what you have said is true. You are very miserable, and it pleased Me to carry out this work of mercy precisely through you who are nothing but misery itself. Do not fear; I will not leave you alone. Do whatever you can in this matter; I will accomplish everything that is lacking in you. You know what is within your power to do; do that.\u00a0<\/b>The Lord looked into the depth of my being with great kindness; I thought I would die for joy under that gaze. The Lord disappeared, and joy, (<b>253<\/b>) strength and power to act remained in my soul. But I was surprised that the Lord did not want to release me and that he is not changing anything. He has once said. And despite all these joys, there is always a shadow of sorrow. I see that love and sorrow go hand in hand\u00a0(Saint Mar\u00eda Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, 881).<\/p>\n<h4><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">2. Supplications:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Let us ask for the Grace to grow in humility.<\/li>\n<li>Let us pray for the souls who have lost hope.<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"m_7919818492719726306gmail-docs-internal-guid-9793c758-7fff-1289-e219-b974e0d13ce4\"><span id=\"m_-805561610117443898gmail-docs-internal-guid-5d6afa3d-7fff-74e3-f3cf-a31cce34e35b\">Let us ask the Lord to have commiseration of our suffering humanity and for\u00a0 the end\u00a0 of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world<\/span>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"m_7919818492719726306gmail-docs-internal-guid-9793c758-7fff-1289-e219-b974e0d13ce4\"><em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">For the souls in purgatory,<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">3. Final Prayer:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Oh JESUS, my beloved Husband, I pray for the triumph of the Church, especially in Rusia and in Spain, for the blessings[\u2026] of all the clergy, for the Grace of conversi\u00f3n for all inveterate sinners; I ask You, oh JESUS, for a special blessing and light for the Priests before whom I will confess all my life. (Diary, 240). Convert me to You, Lord, and I will become the docile instrument of Your Mercy, in this world without true peace.\u00a0Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen.
