Reflection:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>During a meditation on humility, an old doubt returned: that a soul as miserable as mine could not carry out the task which the Lord was demanding [of me]. Just as I was analyzing this doubt, the priest who was conducting the retreat interrupted his train of thought and spoke about the very thing I was having doubts about; namely, that God usually chooses the weakest and simplest souls as tools for His greatest works; that we can see that this is an undeniable truth when we look at the men He chose to be His apostles; or again, when we look at the history of the Church and see what great works were done by souls that were the least capable of accomplishing them; for it is just in this way that God\u201fs works are revealed for what they are, the works of God. When my doubt had completely disappeared, the priest resumed his conference on humility\u00a0<em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(Saint Mar\u00eda Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>464<span id=\"m_1542560979741151292gmail-docs-internal-guid-bfb60beb-7fff-75d7-d1e8-1b5d69f29afc\"><\/span>)<em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"m_3551581995196370287gmail-docs-internal-guid-e3d653a1-7fff-5dbb-d450-bd31bbf5159f\"><\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h4><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">2. Supplications:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"m_7919818492719726306gmail-docs-internal-guid-9793c758-7fff-1289-e219-b974e0d13ce4\">Let us ask for the grace of recognize that we are instruments of the Lord, and that we must do everything in His Name and for His Glory,<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Let us ask for the grace to renounce to our pride,<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"m_7919818492719726306gmail-docs-internal-guid-9793c758-7fff-1289-e219-b974e0d13ce4\"><span id=\"m_-805561610117443898gmail-docs-internal-guid-5d6afa3d-7fff-74e3-f3cf-a31cce34e35b\">Let us ask the Lord to have commiseration of our suffering humanity and for\u00a0 the end\u00a0 of the spread of COVID-19 throughout the world<\/span>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"m_7919818492719726306gmail-docs-internal-guid-9793c758-7fff-1289-e219-b974e0d13ce4\"><em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">For the souls in purgatory,<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">For our suffering humanity and for our personal intentions.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">3. Final Prayer:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">O Jesus, eternal Truth, strengthen my feeble forces; You can do all things, Lord. I know that without You all my efforts are in vain. O Jesus, do not hide from me, for I cannot live without You. Listen to the cry of my soul, Your mercy has not been exhausted, Lord, so have pity on my misery. Your mercy surpasses the understanding of all Angels and people put together; and so, although it seems to me that You do not hear me, I put my trust in the ocean of Your mercy, and I know that my hope will not be deceived. Oh Jesus , my strengh, help me to always live in your Presence.\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Oh My Good Merciful Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You, and only in you I Hope. Amen.
