Reflection:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Today I heard the words:\u00a0<strong>In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My People. Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart. I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so; My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice. Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy<\/strong>. I replied, \u201cO my Jesus, speak to souls Yourself, because my words are insignificant\u201d\u00a0<em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(Saint Mar\u00eda Faustina Kowalska, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>1588)<em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"m_3551581995196370287gmail-docs-internal-guid-e3d653a1-7fff-5dbb-d450-bd31bbf5159f\"><\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h4><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">2.
