1. REFLECTION:<\/p>\n

Oh, how miserable is my soul that wasted so many Graces. I was running away from
\nGOD, and He pursued me with His Graces. Many times I received the Graces of
\nGod when I least expected them. Since the moment the LORD gave me a spiritual
\ndirector, I am more faithful to Grace. Thanks to the director and his vigilance over my
\nsoul, I understood what spiritual direction is and how JESUS sees it. JESUS
\nadmonished me for the slightest carelessness and emphasized that the matters that
\nI entrusted to the confessor, He Himself judged, and any disobedience in front of
\nhim, affects Me. When, under his direction, my soul began to enjoy deep meditation
\nand peace, I often heard these words in my soul: Strengthen yourself for the fight,
\nsometimes repeated more than once.
\n+ Many times JESUS makes me know what He does not like in my soul, and more
\nthan once He admonished me for things that seemed insignificant, but that were, of
\ngreat importance, He admonished and trained me like a Master. For many years He
\neducated me Himself, until the moment He gave me a spiritual director. Before He
\nHimself made me know what I did not understand, and now He makes me ask my
\nconfessor everything and He often tells me like this: And I will answer you through
\nHis mouth, stay calm. (68) It has not happened to me yet to receive an answer
\ncontrary to what the LORD demanded and which I presented to the spiritual director
\n[80]. Sometimes it happens that JESUS recommends some things to me, of which
\nno one has knowledge, and when I approach the grate, the confessor recommends
\nthe same thing, but that is not frequent.
\n+ When the soul received a lot of light and many inspirations for a long time and
\nwhen the confessors confirmed the tranquility and the origin of them [the
\ninspirations], if its love is great, now JESUS makes it known that it is time to put into
\npractice what she received. The soul knows that the LORD counts on it and this
\nknowledge gives it more strength.<\/p>\n

It knows that to be faithful, it will have to expose itself to different difficulties more
\nthan once, but she trusts in GOD and thanks to this trust she reaches where GOD
\ncalls her. Difficulties do not frighten her, they are like her daily bread, they do not
\nfrighten her at all, nor do they frighten her, just as the soldier who is constantly in
\ncombat is not frightened by the thunder of cannons.
\n[She is] far from scared, but she picks up her ears, from which side the enemy
\nattacks, to defeat her. She does nothing blindly, but examines, reflects deeply and
\nwithout counting on herself, prays ardently and asks for advice from experienced and
\ndiscerning officers; and by behaving like this, she almost always wins.
\nThere are attacks, when the soul does not have time to reflect, or to ask for advice,
\nor for anything; then one must fight for life or death; Sometimes it is good to resort to
\nthe wound in the heart of Jesus, without answering a single word and by that very
\n[act] the enemy is defeated.
\nDuring the time of peace the soul makes efforts just as in the time of struggle. She
\nmust exercise a lot, otherwise there is no way to win. I consider the time of peace as
\nthe time of preparation for victory. You must continually monitor, monitor, and once
\nagain, monitor. The soul that reflects receives much light. The dissipated soul
\nexposes itself to falling and is not surprised if it falls. Oh Divine Spirit, Guide of the
\nsoul, he whom You train is wise. But, for the Divine Spirit to be able to work in the
\nsoul, silence and recollection are needed. (Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska, The
\nDivine Mercy in my soul, Diary, 145).<\/p>\n

2. SUPPLICATIONS:
\n– Let us ask for the Grace of obedience to the Will of the LORD and to always have
\nthe attitude of a true spiritual childhood.
\n– Let us pray for those who offend the LORD and who do not try to abandon the
\nways of evil.
\n– For our suffering humanity.
\n– For the souls in Purgatory.
\n– For the intentions of the Virgin Mary.
\n– For our Holy Catholic Church.
\n– For our personal intentions.<\/p>\n

3. PURPOSE OF THE DAY:<\/p>\n

– Reflect on the value of spiritual childhood.<\/p>\n

– Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
\n– Respect the Hour of Mercy.
\n– Try to carry out at least one work of Mercy throughout the day.<\/p>\n

4. CLOSING PRAYER:<\/p>\n

Oh my JESUS, transform me into You, because You can do everything. (Diary, 163).
\nSupport my soul and defend me against my enemies. Help me to always trust You
\nand live without losing hope.
\nOh My Good Merciful JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You and only in You I hope.
\nAmen. JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU!<\/p>\n
