Dear brothers and sisters of this group, we inform you that. In the School of Divine Mercy, before the 20th day of preparation, we usually do the meditation of the 24 hours of the Passion of Christ.
\nEach person has to meditate at least one hour of the Passion of Christ. The meditation begins on Thursday at 5:00 pm and ends on Friday at 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

The important thing, to accept with humility and obedience this task, knowing, when we plan to accompany the Lord in his passion, we are the ones who will leave with consolation that we will not receive anywhere, only in Him.<\/p>\n

Why is it necessary to meditate on the Passion of Christ?<\/p>\n

The King of Mercy tells us:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is more merit to one hour of meditation on My sorrowful Passion than there is to a whole year of flagellation that draws blood; the contemplation of My painful wounds is of great profit to you, and it brings Me great joy. I am surprised that you still have not completely renounced your self-will, but I rejoice exceedingly that this change will be accomplished during the retreat\u201d (Diary, 369).<\/strong><\/p>\n

24 Hours of the Passion (Luisa Piccarreta) <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. First Hour: From 5 to 6 PM Jesus takes leave of His Most Holy Mother<\/li>\n
  2. Second Hour: From 6 to 7 PM Jesus departs from His Most Holy Mother and sets out for the Cenacle.<\/li>\n
  3. Third Hour: From 7 to 8 PM The Legal Supper<\/li>\n
  4. Fourth Hour: From 8 to 9 PM The Eucharistic Supper<\/li>\n
  5. Fifth Hour: From 9 to 10 PM First Hour of Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane<\/li>\n
  6. Sixth Hour: From 10 to 11 PM Second Hour of Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane<\/li>\n
  7. Seventh Hour: From 11 PM to Midnight Third Hour of Agony in the Garden of<\/li>\n
  8. Eighth Hour: From Midnight to 1 AM Jesus is arrested<\/li>\n
  9. Ninth Hour: From 1 to 2 AM Thrown from a ledge, Jesus falls into the Cedron Stream<\/li>\n
  10. Tenth Hour: From 2 to 3 AM Jesus is presented to Annas<\/li>\n
  11. Eleventh Hour: From 3 to 4 AM Jesus in the house of Caiaphas<\/li>\n
  12. Twelfth Hour: From 4 to 5 AM Jesus at the mercy of the soldiers<\/li>\n
  13. Thirteenth Hour: From 5 to 6 AM Jesus in prison.<\/li>\n
  14. Fourteenth Hour: From 6 to 7 AM Jesus before Caiaphas again, who confirms His condemnation to death and sends Him to Pilate<\/li>\n
  15. Fifteenth Hour: From 7 to 8 AM Jesus before Pilate. Pilate sends Him to Herod<\/li>\n
  16. Sixteenth Hour: From 8 to 9 AM Jesus is brought back to Pilate and placed after Barabbas. Jesus is scourged.<\/li>\n
  17. Seventeenth Hour: From 9 to 10 AM Jesus is crowned with thorns. Presented to the people: \u201cEcce Homo!\u201d Jesus is condemned to death.<\/li>\n
  18. The Eighteenth Hour: From 10 to 11 AM Jesus takes up the Cross and walks toward Calvary, where He is stripped.<\/li>\n
  19. The Nineteenth Hour: From 11 AM to 12 PM Jesus is Crucified 71 7 First Part: The Crucifixion<\/li>\n
  20. Twentieth Hour: From 12 to 1 PM First Hour of Agony on the Cross. The First Word of Jesus.<\/li>\n
  21. Twenty-first Hour: From 1 to 2 PM Second Hour of Agony on the Cross. Second, Third and Fourth Word of Jesus.<\/li>\n
  22. Twenty-second Hour: From 2 to 3 PM Third Hour of Agony on the Cross. Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Word of Jesus. The Death of Jesus.<\/li>\n
  23. Twenty-third Hour: From 3 to 4 PM Jesus, Dead, is Pierced by the Thrust of a Lance. The Deposition from the Cross.<\/li>\n
  24. Twenty-fourth Hour: From 4 to 5 PM The Burial of Jesus. Desolated Mary Most Holy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
