Novena before the Feast of Mercy 2024<\/span><\/h3>\r\n

…the first Sunday after Easter is the Feast of Mercy, but there must also be acts of mercy, and I demand the worship of My mercy through the solemn celebration of the Feast and through the veneration of the image which is painted.\u00a0 By means of this image I shall grant many graces to souls.\u00a0 It is to be a reminder of the demands of My mercy, because even the strongest (163) faith is of no avail without works<\/strong>.\u00a0 O my Jesus, You Yourself must help me in everything, because You see how very little I am, and so I depend solely on Your goodness, O God (Diary, 742).<\/p>\r\n

Day 1 (march 29): <\/a>Good Friday<\/a><\/h3>\r\n

Today, bring to Me all mankind, especially all sinners, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me (Diary, 1210)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which (58<\/strong>) we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from it.\u00a0 We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\r\n

Oh omnipotence of Divine Mercy, Salvation of sinful people, You are a sea of mercy and compassion; You aid those who entreat You with humility. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate heart of Jesus.\u00a0 For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy forever and ever.\u00a0 Amen (Diary 1211)<\/p>\r\n

THE CHAPLET OF THE DIVINE MERCY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Use a common rosary. <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

  • Our Father, who art in heaven… <\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Hail Mary, full of grace… <\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t
  • I believe in God, Almighty Father, Creator of heaven and earth.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    \u00a0<\/strong>At the beginning of every decade (1 time):<\/strong> Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, the Soul and divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.<\/p>\r\n

    In every bead of the decade (10 times):<\/strong> For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.<\/p>\r\n

    At the end (3 times): Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whol<\/strong>e world<\/strong> (cf. Diary, 476).<\/p>\r\n

    LITANY TO THE DIVINE MERCY<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\r\n

    The Love of God is the flower; Mercy the fruit. Let the hesitant soul read these considerations on Divine Mercy and regain confidence.<\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, gushing forth from the bosom of the Father, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, greatest attribute of GOD, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, incomprehensible mystery, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, fountain gushing forth from the mystery of the Most Blessed Trinity, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, unfathomed by any intellect, human or angelic, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, from which wells forth all life and happiness, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, better than the heavens, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, source of miracles and wonders, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, encompassing the whole universe, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, descending to earth in the Person of the Incarnate Word, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, which flowed out from the open wound of the Heart of JESUS, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, enclosed in the Heart of JESUS for us, and especially for sinners, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, unfathomed in the institution of the Sacred Host, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, in the founding of Holy Church, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, in our justification through Jesus Christ, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, accompanying us through our whole life, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, embracing us especially at the hour of death, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, endowing us with immortal life, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, accompanying us every moment of our life, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, shielding us from the fire of hell, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, in the conversion of hardened sinners, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, astonishment for Angels, incomprehensible to Saints, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, unfathomed in all the mysteries of GOD, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, lifting us out of every misery, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, source of our happiness and joy, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Divine Mercy, in calling us forth from nothingness to existence, I trust in You.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    THANKSGIVING<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

    (138) + O Jesus, eternal God, thank you for Your countless graces and blessings. Let every beat of my heart be a new hymn of thanksgiving to You, O God.
